The Upright Imaging Center is the only destination of its kind in Chicagoland that offers three unique imaging services within the comfort and convenience of one location; Upright (Open) MRI, Infrared Thermography and Diagnostic Ultrasound. Upright MRI is helpful for individuals with Claustrophobia, disabled persons, children or anyone who has difficulty with traditional MRI proceedures.
Not only are we home to Upright MRI of Deerfield, but we are one of the few centers in the entire state of Illinois to offer Digital Infrared Thermal Imaging - a unique, non-invasive imaging procedure for the entire body, which detects and monitors a number of diseases and physical injuries.
Of special interest to our female patients are our Breast Thermography cancer screenings, which have been found to detect early stage breast disease years before a noticeable lump has been formed. Without any radiation or compressions, the FDA-approved Breast Thermography cancer screening is saving lives!
In addition to featuring the most advanced, open Upright MRI system in the world and Digital Infrared Thermal Imaging, the Upright Imaging Center also offers Diagnostic Ultrasound for many parts of the body including the abdomen, the heart, the brain, the breasts and the prostate. Our facility also provides gynecological and obstetric ultrasound services.
